Hello all!! I went to Delaware for the first time this year on Sunday. What an awesome place!! Next year I would like to go tuesday thru thursday and was wondering how far in advance I would need to book a room or get seats? Can you park a motor home somewhere on the grounds?
I know from reading this forum for a long time that there are some jug pros on here!!
Any advice would be appreciated!

You can get a room easily in Columbus days before the Jug.You can park an RV or camper there at the fairgrounds, but you have to buy a permit.

Thanks gary! Did you drive the tractor this year? I noticed a horse ran into one on the back stretch sunday.

No, when I drive the tractor, no one runs into it. When I drive the water truck, no one runs into it except Michigan Dale.
However, quite like the time when my then two year-old son touched a hot woodburning stove, I think Dale learned his lesson. ;D

As a one-timer now, I can tell you that we stayed in Dublin, OH, about a 30 minute drive. Terrific area & the drive was scenic, right along the river. I booked the room about 3 weeks in advance & stayed at Hampton Inn in Dublin, for a little over $100 per night with free hot breakfast. I'm used to staying at Marriott hotels but this was pretty nice & comfortable - I'd recommend it.
