There was a downpour going on during the Archangel race. Morrill just couldn't overcome the outside post and the rain.

Tony Alagna is certainly rewarded for racing Major Bombay back two days after he failed to move on from his Jug elimination. Some criticize Andy for runnin them too fast, but on a night when the leaders slept through the middle halfs, he threw in a 27.3 third quarter, over the wet track, and that prevented HBC from advancing.
