We have our room reserved and boarding set up for our pup for LBJ week. We'll be there Jugette Day and Jug day. Will be hanging around turn 3 with the Brian Brown & Williams stables. (if they'll still have us)
Wondering who from ITS is going to be there? Great racing, great food, and great people... what's not to like!
-
My plan is Jugette day......so move your chair over...........I also expect my sister to cater to me.

What time does the racing end on Jugette day ?
-
Outside chance I will be there Jug Day. Follow the cigar smoke and look fro a guy with a big hat.

Great now you are going to get protesters with too much time on their hands trying to keep you out.

No clue what time they'll end........we'll know after the draw.........usually around 6pm

As I mentioned previously, I'll be there both days - first time. Hopefully I will get to meet some of you.

In this internet age, when a livestream video of just about any race can be picked up on one's smart phone, tablet or computer, there's something endearing about the fact that the WINF radio broadcast of the Delaware Fair races, with Berman and Hoffman, will be available online again this year.
Phil Terry says the broadcast is aimed at tailgateras and those busy in the barn area.
No TVG crew full of thoroughbred interlopers from California who can't wait to get on a plane and go home. No Donna Brothers conducting breathless interviews on horseback. No instant replays of the stretch run.
-
I've listened to the radio broadcast many times! thumbsup thumbsup

Maybe St Calvin & I can rassle a drunk, and my Bride can kick his ass for knocking Jen's flower pots over.

Started today to tidy up, paint and I think I'll put my tents up and get out the grill so I can sit and enjoy them now. We get too darn busy Jug week. My flowers are doing very well considering the drought we are in , but the water hose works well so the flowers should be nice Jug week. Looking forward to seeing all the ITS folks that can make it here. thumbsup If someone comes this year I haven't met yet for craps sake make yourself known. We are user friendly especially Jug week. ;)
-
We will be there all week (well minus the Eric Church concert in Pittsburgh Saturday night). This will be my 6th Jug week in a row; where has the time gone! Looking forward to picking up our first Jug week win, watching the best owners, trainers, and drivers in action, leaving my work cell and computer at home and enjoyn the best week of racing with an amazing bunch of people! Can't wait to see you all again :)
-
Bettor.. agree with you about a great week of racing but that amazing bunch of people probably wouldn't be so amazing if everyone, and I'm pretty safe saying "everyone" wasn't intoxicated 99% of the week. rflmao1 but it's all good. thumbsup

That is what makes it amazing....where else can you start drinking at 10am - drink until mid afternoon...sober up enough to each chinese at PF Chang's...go out again at night (at the track) walk home to your RV and have Roger Houston wake everyone up at 815am by a good ole "Good Morning, Delaware" and then start it all over again for Jug Day.......sheer perfection!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dolfan, you will love it. I went in 08 and it was amazing. Had a great host in our member here in Jug and it was one of the best time I have ever had at the track. Great racing with great friends both days. ( Yeah I passed out during the Juggette for an hour after the long drive the night before, but I still saw the reaceoff. And got f**ked with pretty good by my good friends) It was such an experience, that anyone who loves harness racing should experience.
Hope you have a great time and get to meet some of the great people from this site. All real good people and they make the experience even better.

Taking Bolt the Duer, and may be making the trip. Will keep you posted!
-
My plans are to be there both days as our flight lands in Columbus around 10:30 am Wednesday.
I don't drink a lick so I will easily recall everything.
I will try to remember to wear a Dolphins' jersey so I will be easily recognizable by any of you. Hopefully I haven't offended anyone too much here to get punched out! hammerhead1
