Eleven three year old pacing colts dropped in the entry box on Thursday morning at Tioga Downs for harness racing

The three supplemental entries are colts that have proven themselves on half-mile tracks but are not eligible to the Jug. Supplemental entries to the Jug are only allowed if a colt has won the Cane, which is a leg of the traditional Triple Crown.

Heston has won several times over small tracks in the NYSS. Pet Rock won the Rooney, as well as his elimination in the Confederation Cup at Flamboro. He was third in the final. State Treasurer won his Confederation Cup elimination.

This is the route Cheddar took to the Jug last year. If one of the three wins the Cane their connections can supplement that colt to the Jug for $45,000.

Joe Bellino and Virgil Morgan want Pet Rock to race in the jug, but Ken Jacobs told Ken Weingartner that HBC will still skip the Jug if he wins the Cane.
