Title: Canadian Pacing Derby

There will be a single elimination for the Canadian Pacing Derby on Saturday. The field will be whittled down from ten to eight. Why the dearth of horses entered this year? No Burke horses. WTW won it in 2010, and last year he was second, followed by Foiled and Atochia. Atochia has been out of action for a couple of months and Foiled isn

i thought i read that foiled again and golden receiver drew byes into the field ?

thumbsup And Meirs was cut up and stiched up last week so he is out.

Ooops! Missed that story. I couldn't understand why there was a single elim this year, going down to eight.

Cheddar, WWS and Foiled knocked heads in the Franklin elimination, while Golden Receiver drew the nine and didn't make the final.

The CPD final should be a very good race.
