The eight-year-old Western Ideal stallion, Always A Virgin, is turning heads with his first crop in Indiana. Actually, they started turning their heads several months ago as one of his colts brought $50,000 at Lexington. Ten of his went in the three 30K ISS divisions at Indiana Downs today, and oddly enough eight of them are geldings.
Raise The Gin, a 1/5 shot driven by Trace Tetrick brushed to the top on the back and opened up on the field, winning by two in 53.4. Mister Virgin, an 8/5 shot driven by Peter Wren, followed the same script. He won by seven in 53.3.
