Title: Wish me luck

A few weeks back, I made a very small investment in a partnership racing a three-year-old at Running Aces. Tonight we go in a series final for $8k. The horse is named Tidbit and the partnership is called The Bucket List Stable.  Race 2, HN2, PP2.
I think the entry is gonna be about impossible to beat.

After a tough trip Tuesday in the Series Final (followed the winner who cleared so quick we were out raw a looooooonnnggg time), Tidbit bounced back last night with a good 2nd in a $3300 overnight, in line to new driver....wait for it... Joey Mapes.

Nothing wrong with Joey Mapes.  He subbed for every a few years back due to an injury and won all 3 of the drives.

There is actually video from several years back of me on the Big Chuck and Little John show, singing the praises of a young driver named Joey Mapes. Granted, mom and dad were also in the studio audience, but, still. Joey is doing well there and we changed to him from the leading (or close to leading) driver who just kept driving far too aggressively...this is one of those colts who acts like he is full of pace in a hole, but... Joey waited and used him once late.
