Hanover out of Golden Miss, Strike Out was owned by Bee-Jay Stable of Oshawa, Ont.
John Hayes handled the training but Keith Waples drove the colt, which chalked up 15 wins in 25 starts and $298,436. He dead-heated with Jay Time in the Adios, and won the
Taterstalls and Prix d'Ete. Strike Out is headed for the stallion barn at Castleton Farm.

Despite a work stoppage caused by striking carpenters, Windsor Raceway officials remain optimistic that reconstruction of the fire-ravaged clubhouse and grandstand will be completed in time for the scheduled opening of the 1975 fall meet on October 19. The multi-million dollar project had been proceeding ahead of schedule until the stoppage.
