With the major Preps complete, I decided to start a Kentucky Derby thread. Here's my top 5:
1. Bodemeister
2. Gemologist
3. Daddy Nose Best
4. Union Rags
5. Dullahan/Hansen/Creative Cause/Alpha
As much as I hate to say it, this year's Derby looks pretty chalky right now. I don't see a Mine That Bird type shocker in my crystal ball.

I think you are going to see a lot of horses taking action and the favorite being no lower than 5-1

Since Bodemeister won the Arkansas Derby he is my pick to win, I'm glad it was a convincing win,

I'm picking Creative Cause! He beat Bodemeister PLUS he's a Giant Causway and should love the 1 1/4. Bode is going to get tangled with Hansen. Baffert already said that the horses best is when he goes to the front. Could be another Songandaprayer quarter at the Derby!!!

Daddy Nose Best worked well today. He's my sleeper for the Derby. I think he has a great foundation (2 races at 9 Furlongs, plus 8 races as a 2 YO). His numbers have improved in both starts this year, plus he's got some jockey named Garrett Gomez (though Gomez has yet to win a Triple Crown race).
