Mike Smith will be riding Bodemeister in the Derby.

He really was impressive today, I just wonder if he bounces off that effort. He is deserving of being the Derby fave IMO.

I wonder if Hansen and Bodemeister will duel each other into submission in the Derby?

Mike did say in his interview after the race that he could of rated if he wanted to, but he was going so easy he just decided to take him to the top

Post by: srotagtbs on April 15, 2012, 06:33:14 AM: 105 Beyer for Bodemeister. That makes 3 for him this year. The last 2 horses to enter the Derby with 3 or more 100+ Beyers: 2006. Both Brother Derek and Sweetnorthernsaint had 4 100+ Beyers before entering the Derby.
