Just curious here. I just read a poll of the most popular president in the past 50 years and I am conducting my own survey to see who people's least favorite president in the past 50 years is.

I was actually around for all of these presidents.  FDR was in office when I was born.  I was too young to remember him though.  I do remember my grandfather telling me what FDR stood for.  The first word was f**king! So, Truman was the first President I can remember.  When he fired General Mac, I remember watching the welcome home parade for him from NYC on our B/W 12 inch round Zenith TV.
I voted for Barry whatever his real name is.  Just totally horrid IMHO.
I would rank the top worst as follows.
1. Obama
2  LBJ--I won't send American boys to fight Asian wars--anyone else remember that lie.
3. Jimmy Carter- a very smart man who had no clue on how to run anything or get things done.
4. Nixon-  Never felt he could be trusted.
5. George W.  Bush- tried to compromise too much with the Dems.   Gave up too much and got little in return

Many folks here will vote incorrectly simply because they are not old enough to remember them all as vividly as us oldsters.

I personally think Nixon was not only the most honest of all of them, I think he was the greatest president of our lifetime, simply because he got us out if Vietnam.,

Toughie, but I'll go for BO just a shade worse than Carter, then W.  Certainly FDR would've been a good choice too but not in my lifetime.

Best in my lifetime, Reagan, Clinton (bring it on...) Nixon by default.  Truman predates me but he would have been in my top 2.

I can offer only one suggestion Gary !!

DUCK !!!when the leftys see this.
I kinda liked Truman until he strong-armed Mac Arthur over the Korean "police action". Stood on the White House lawn and watched him being sworn into office.
This current guy is far and away the worst. Gotten so I turn off the audio on any device I have going when I hear his melodious, lying voice.
You can be pretty sure there is tyranny in the country when the government pleads the fifth
Amendment !!

I can understand people not liking W, I didn't like him much either.  Too liberal for me.  I thought Mitt had a good line in his speech "I'll tell you what Obama inherited from Bush, A Democratic Congress!"  I really think their takeover of Congress in 2006 is what set America down the path of destruction.    Bush was far too namby-bambi in dealing with them let them get away with too much nonsense.  What did he get for his letting them have their way?  Now they blame him for their failed policies!!!!!  Our economy sucks, our influence abroad is headed for the depths and we have bveen saddled with trillions extra in debt.  Influence peddling is at an all time high and Obama is even bold enough to mock efforts to bring down the price of gas!!!  So, if you want $5 and then $10 a gallon gas, vote for Obama.  Maybe you can buy a Volt, expensive to buy and costs twice as much to operate.  Does anyone really think electric cars are practical?  Costs over $18 to charge a Volt anfd the range is what 25-40 miles?
I was looking at the new Mitsu electric car.  Had a sticker of $30,000 and has a range of 60 miles.
Every electric car is getting $10,000 in subs from the government.  Even at 60 mile range, not enough for my wife to drive to and from work.

Dwight Eisenhauer was elected was elected when I was born. The biggest rap against him in the media was that he spent all his time playing golf... didn't do squat, and let the country run itself without interference.

America climbed out of the post-depression war like gangbusters. A little of that hands-off, pro-capitalist attitude would go a long way in improving the precarious fiscal position our country is currently in.

For my favorite prez of my adult life, it would have to be Ronald Wilson Reagan.
