Mitt Romney has jumped back ahead in the fevered Florida Republican Primary race with his support back to where it was before Newt Gingrich

Looks like Mitt delivered a knock-out blow in that debate.  I'd vote for Clem Cadiddlehooper before Nobama.

Personally, as I have stated earlier, Howdy Doody would be my choice.
On another topic, look at the guy who does the evening news on cbs these days.
Scott Smelly or Pelly or some damned thing. Tell me he ain't my buddy, Howdy Doody, re-incarnated.
You can be pretty sure there is tyranny in the country when the government pleads the fifth

The bickering is hurting the entire GOP, good for Santorum the other night seeing an opening and pouncing on both Newt and Mitt about their fighting.  It does seem to me though that Newt actually would like to talk about issues but Mitt has his mind made up about going after Newt.

Unfortunately this race is over. Obama will win by a landslide and the Republicans have no one to blame but themselves. For the party to have not one, but two presidential elections to come up with a decent candidate and not be able to come up with better than McCain and now Romney or Newty is pathetic.

I miss Herman Cain. It would be nice to see someone in the White House that knew how business really works, instead of a career politician. Santorum is my choice of the trifecta still in the race. Whoever wins the GOP nomination, I hope will pick Jindhal or Rubio for veep... those two really impress me. (too bad they're not at the top of the ticket)

Obama against Cain and Jindal would make Nixon against McGovern look competitive.

You guys are way more conservative than me.  I'm a fiscal conserve but very liberal on social issues so for me, there's only one candidate, Mitt & I saw him in person last night.  He held a rally but was clearly tired from the day's events (3 other stops) & the long week.

Gary, I believe he can beat Obama & the polls indicate that as well.  Allot of time between now & Election Day & lots can happen, including the Supreme Court overturning Obama's biggest "accomplishment" of Healthcare policy, which I think will happen in July.  I can't see too many independents saying "I just love what Obama's done for us".

Obama will get +/- 80% of the Democrat vote, 96% of the black vote.(but the black vote only 12% of the country) He has lost a ton of support among the independents, and that is crucial ground in a Prez election. I don't care much for RINOs, which I find Mitt to be... but he's still light years ahead of Obama on my scale.

Oh well, it'll be interesting.

"All" Mitt has to do is take 3% of Obama's votes from 2008 & it's his.  Just out of pure logic, I cannot see how he does not pick up 3% of Obama's electorate.  Are there really not even 3% of Obama's voters who see things differently now?  Am I that far off?

In swing states, according to today's poll, it's 48%-47%.  Of course, allot can & will happen in 9 months.

I could add my dismay over the GOP candidates.  But, compare that to the Donkey Boys and it is waaaay ahead.  Obama, a community organizer with no executive expierience who came up through the Chicago political mahine?(and YES, he did play ball)   I have to vote for the GOP candidate, to not do so is a defacto vote for Obama. ( yeah , I have voted for Dems in the past, so I'm not a straight Republican voter like some claim(mostly straight Dem voters)  Romney would not be my first choice, put I'll make a contibution to any GOP candidate to beat NOBAMA  No Mas!!!!

WHile I have total disdain for Obama, I will not vote for any Republican in the running today. I will definitely vote Libertarian and here is why: The Republicans and Democrats are merging into one big f**ked up party in my opinion. There is the fiscally left winger and the very, very fiscally left winger.

Republicans concentrate on dumb stuff like abortion, gay marriage, pot, getting into wars, etc. Dems concentrate on more government, more taxes, more, more, more.

Even today's Republicans are into more and more legislation. It's just ridiculous! The land of the free is not free any longer. Republicans always stood for small government and little government intervention into our businesses and our privacy. Not so any longer.

Screw them both. We need new parties, and people are too backwards thinking to realize this!

Obama thanks you. I am way more Libertarian than anything else, but the Libertarian candidate will get about 1% of the vote... that just adds an extra 1% to Barry. Of the ones left, I would choose Santorum at this point. But he's getting little traction.

I don't care if it appears to be a vote for Obama. I am ashamed that this is all the Republicans have to throw at him. He will win in a landslide no matter who I vote for. I voted for Dole, failure. I voted for McCain, failure. I singlehandedly got George W. Bush elected and he broke me. I cannot and will not vote for Obama or Mitt.

If enough people vote libertarian, both parties might get the message. They both suck!
