The Meadows today

Bored this morning and too lazy to start cleaning yet, so I started looking at today's races. Here is what I came up with:

Race 1 I like the #2 Perfect Rose and the #7 Miss Daphne. Perfect Rose absolutely puked last race for no apparent reason, but the track was very icy that day and many horses could not get hold of the track. Miss Daphne raced huge her first start and I expect big things from her today. Use these two in the double.

Race 2  Love the #1 Baritone. I think the #2 and #3 will be the two favorites, and falsely in my opinion.

Race 6  Absolutely love the #1 Just Pretend A. To me he is definitely the class of this bunch, and Palone chose him. That tells me something.

Race 11  #2 Spirit's Gone Wild  First time driving god Miller. Need I say more?

Race 12  #3 Alternat Thursdays   Second time Burke, might have needed a start last time after the layoff.

Race 15  Longshot special here.  #5 Roseann Ken Win  Looks like a tough spot for her, but I have a hunch today is her day.

Oh yes laddies. Nobody, and I mean nobody gives out ice cold exactas and doubles at The Meadows like old Gary D. Nobody!

Wow, how they avoided an accident in the 11th race, I do not know. Dowdall was cutting the mile when near the 7/8 pole he had difficulty pooping the ear plugs. The horse made a break and Dowdall cracked him with the whip to get the horse out of driving god Miller's way to prevent Brett from running Dowdall over.

Dowdall scattered the field and went on to win the race anyway and of course Old Gary D's pick was placed first. I commend Mike Hall and the other judges for this great placement. When did Mike become the judge at the Meadows? He's a hell of a good judge!

And Old Gary D is three for four for the day....thus far.
