Ive seen the video and I am pretty sure this was a hand held device used by one of their fellow Marines and not a journalist.
For me I have no issue with this. I would tell them to never do it again. Certainly not while someone is filming and move on.

But with the PC mentality of america now. They are at minimal losing their careers in the military and will be discharged. Possible they will face criminal charges even.
This is why I dont hold Rick Perrys talk of succession against him.

It is impossible to fight a humane war. You have to kill more of them than they kill of you, until the other side gives up. The US military won every war they were ever in until Korea... at which time politicians started telling troops what they could and couldn't do.

A Soldier's job is to kill people, and break things. If you don't want to back them, THEN DON'T SEND THEM!

If I were those Marines commanding officer, I would have said, "Good job, but don't EVER record it, dumbass!" (insert troops emoticon)
