Breeder's Cup Re cap Thoughts.

What a thrill to see AP win the grand slam up close and in person.  What a magnificent beast.  Had some nice winners.  Glad to see Stephanie's Kitten win.  Songbird looked and performed flawlessly. Was all over Nyquist.  Needles O'Neill will have him ready for the Derby.  Although, it is hard for Juvenile winners to take the Derby.  Mad that I didn't hit the Pk 4.  I knew no Arc winner has ever won the BC Turf I singled him anyway.  Liked Found and Big Blue Kitten but didn't include them on the ticket.  Saved $20 and lost$$$$.
As a special treat got to see Kate Upton---not as close or personal as I would have liked bowdown

Was my first time at Keeneland.   I don't think it's as big as Balmoral.  I knew it was smaller, but not that small.
Friday was fine but too large a crowd for Saturday.  No problem buying a drink or betting at the windows.
Food stands couldn't keep up with the demand.  But, had a great time and glad I went.  Who knows if I'll ever have another chance to see a horse go for the Grand Slam.

Great recap Hal.
IMO Keeneland is a bucket list item for a racing fan

Glad you saw AP go out a winner.I would have loved to have seen Beholder in the race. After the scratches into a coronation I guess it was meant to be.

I think Pharoah is an awesome horse and was glad he won, but after the scratches, and Liams Map going in the mile this race was a joke of a classic. Not one horse in there could even threaten him early, and there was never any doubt he would roll.
