While in Vegas last December I made a bet on the Cubs to win the World Series. Since I gave it to a friend as a Christmas present I'm sure it's a winner.

As a WSox fan it's hard not to like this Cubs team.  lilcheerleader

Typical magnanimous White Sox fan reaction.   I too am in a conciliatory mood.   I have my Cubs World Series shirt on right now.  I may have to take it off though since I am making pasta for dinner and don't want to get red sauce all over it.

Cubs whip the Cards 9-0 Monday and lead 6-0 in the second tonight.

That said, the Cubs have as much chance of winning the World Series as an ITS member has of winning the lottery.  8)

Cub mania has reached a fever pitch.  I had to pretend to be a Cub fan to get served in a restaurant  idunno
All fans expect a sweep of the Cards.   Who knows?  All this for a one game play off chance.  I will not watched as a favor to Cub fans.  I have never seen the Cubs win a playoff game they had to win.  I was dreaming of goats and hamburgers last night---for Cub fans it would be a nightmare shootme shootme

Watched the news last night and thought the Cubs already won the World Series   
 For cripes sake it's only one game.  I think I'll wear my Cards cap to the track Friday night.
