They have said the same about Tebow at every single level and he  has proven them wrong. I would take him over just about any NFL passer except the Manning boys and Brady right now.   I for one would love to see at least 2 out of the 3 recently fired head coaches in Chicago rather than (insert chef guy here) it will never happen though.

Watching Tebow I'm reminded of another QB, this one big, blond and left-handed and who played for the Bears, Bobby Douglass.

What Tebow seems to have that Douglass didn't is leadership and the belief of his teammates.  The Bear defense had absolutely no confidence in Douglass.

You can't deny Douglass had a cannon.  I don't think the NFL has seen an arm like his before or since.  I remember a WR hyperextended his fingers trying to catch one of his rockets with his hands.  Dick Gordon maybe?

I'll reserve judgement on Tebow.  Let's see how he does next year.  I remember Kent Nix and Virgil Carter coming in as second stringers and lighting things up for a few games.

The jury's still out, IMO.
