Beginning Monday, March 3, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will offer $5,000-guaranteed pools for its Monday and Tuesday Pick 4 wagers as part of the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Initiative.
Minimum wager for the Pick 4, which spans Races 4 through 7, is 50 cents. Since Pennsylvania law requires a minimum per-race wager of $2, a player wagering at the 50-cent level must bet at least four tickets.
The guaranteed-pool Pick 4 joins a rich exotic wagering menu that on a typical card includes:
Exactas and Trifectas on each race;
Early and late Daily Doubles;
Four Pick 3 wagers;
A Pick 5 on the day’s final five races;
Superfectas on each race with a minimum of eight wagering interests, except those that kick off a Pick 4 or Pick 5. (Meadows)
