Irvine, Irving or Irving
« on: August 23, 2013, 06:36:57 AM »
What makes this issue confusing is that I've a 1959 HB's reference (Hilliards) that states Don Irvine trained this horse (Indian Red Girl) in 1958 & 59.

Is #1611 Don Irvine or Dana Irving?  (I'm inclined to believe it's Dana Irving.)
There were seven pics of this horse and all were this driver except one (#1615)

---------

This driver is older than the others.
The owner of this horse was W. W. Irving, which confuses the Irvine-Irving issue even more, however I've no pics of the man.

To make matters even more confusing, Dana Irving had at least two boys, one of which was name Don, however both boys were less than 10YO in 1959.

Anybody have a clue on the identities of the Irvine-Irvings in these pics?

Gary,
Hard to believe that I don't have any "Irvine" pics at all.
A big freaking zilch.

Gary,
        Which one?
1611 I have labelled as Don Irvine, however with a question mark?

1611 or 1615 ?

There's quite a difference in age between those two gents?
