Just letting everyone know
« on: May 07, 2013, 04:02:49 PM »

Wildly unexpected core network behavior was encountered during Friday night’s maintenance, which was supposed to prevent downtime in case of future network outages upstream (like the previous two incidents over the past few weeks.) Consequently, new supervisor boards were rushed out Monday via UPS next day air. Tonight the supervisor boards are being replaced.

This priority network maintenance is scheduled for early tomorrow morning:
May 8th, 2013; 1:00 AM – 4:00 AM EDT

The network is expected to be online during most of the maintenance, but there is potential for intermittent packet loss due to the nature of the maintenance.

Network Engineering,
Acenet, Inc.

I got my ITS access back on my Verizon air card, but my Boost Mobile android phone is still blocked. Maybe the IT update will correct that. Kinda got used to taking a peek at ITS when having to wait for an appointment somewhere.

what web browser do you use on the phone?  If you have more than one are you blocked from all browsers?

Don't know what browser it uses Jeremy... just not tech savvy. When I got the phone I just typed "inthesulky.com" into the browser field and ITS came up. That no longer works, just shows error alert. I'll have to run it past my kids and grandkids to see if alternate browsers are available. On my laptop and desktop I use Internet Explorer and it works.
