The President Of PeaceTrump! Trump! Trump!
I got a report from my sister-in-law. She went to Wal Mart at 11pm last night. All 32 checkouts were open and there were 25-30 people in line at each one. Then she went to the mall. Had to park 4 blocks away. People in Illinois must have more money to spend.
we just have fast checkout counters. good luck to all the people hiding a 65" tv or a washer and dryer for a month.
My daughter's laptop crashed (hard drive failure-good timing, at least) so she headed to WalMart with Ms. Giss for the $258 HP special. They had plenty in stock (arrived at 11:55) and the lines were shorter than they usually are at this store. My sis-in-law works in marketing for a major department store chain (no names, but rhymes with Shmarget) and was tasked to drive around and monitor lines and displays locally (even though not based here). Lines short everywhere both last nigth and this early AM.Looking at the so-called door busters, very few really "busted" me to the point of thinking of getting up early, other than a $20 video camera at Dollar General, of all places.
I pretend I'm him all the time. The stores opening last night hacked me off...........if I had one bone of desire to shop I would avoid them like the plague just for principal......but seeing how shopping is as enjoyable to me as my Aunt Flo they need not worry.
Yes it was cheap and yes I know you want it.
