I am going to disagree about Clinton.
It was during his time when the current financial crisis could have been averted.
He appointed Brooksley Born to the CFTC with virtually no power to regulate deriavatives.He then caved into pressure from Greenspan and Sumner to get rid of her.

Despite his disgraceful exit from office I vote for Nixon as doing the most good.
He got us out of Vietnam.
He enforced desgregation of Southern schools.
He startred the EPA.

I'd have to rate them like this from best to worst. Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, Bush, Bush Sr., Ford, Carter, and wiping up the rear, Obama.

I would like to meet George W. Bush and Bill Clinton the most. Carter is probably the best human being of the bunch, which goes to prove that decent human beings are not necessarily good leaders.

Ironically, I think there is one good thing about Obama: he is a good father. Other than that, I cannot say one good thing about the guy.

Well IMO thats when the steel industry and detroit started going to hell very quickly.

Great things can be done when working with a conservative congress !

I've heard Jan Shakowsky interviewed many times on WLS-AM radio. She needs to be locked in a rubber room. Regarless of party, she's nuts! ...must be the dead folks in Chicago voting again.

I can live with this list.

My favorite was John F Kennedy , I was only 5 months old when he was shot but I can only imagine how this country would have been changed for the better.
