Mohawk Thursday Selections

Here's what I like tonight at the Hawk:

1- PL Earl. Been off for a month and is taking a big class drop. Have a long look, should roll if he's sound.

2- Handover Belle. Box with Bee A Magician.

3- To Dream On. Looks like this one lays over the field.

4- Business or Pleasure. Gingras almost wired them last time, look for this one to be forwardly placed.

5- Raising Roxanne. Ships in from Georgian Downs where she has been racing very well. Hopefully get a price.

6- Explodent. Looks to be the best in this field. Use 1,2,4,5 underneath in the exotics.

7- Bluff. Zeron and Burke team up in this one. Has great gate speed so should be forwardly place.

8- Windsun T Bird. Taking Zeron three in a row is risky!

9- Slip into Glide. Like this one off the class drop.

10- Alibi Terror. Has been knocking on the door for the past few starts. Should be due.

11- Maratoga. Was impressive last start, should only improve from here.

12- Watkins. Jody should have this one well positioned, looking for a decent price.

Good luck to all playing along!

Good luck, Dave!

EP4 looks tough tonight.

R4 - 3,7,9,4    5,6
R5 - 7,2,10($),8    3,1
R6 - 5,6,1,8     7($),10($),3
R7 - 2(?)   1,5    7

Race 4 - This field looks awful.  Don't be surprised if WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN bounces back here, but the 9-hole will be tough.  MCMURRAY HANOVER raced well for first time Moreau and has some upside, especially with a trip.  FOREGO THE CIGAR broke last time, but has tactical speed and a nice closing kick.

Race 5 - MAJESTIC IMAGE was bet down heavily last time and broke on the lead.  MONEY MAVEN is my sleeper here, AMac finds early position if ready.

Race 6 - Another wide open race.  DEUCE MAN has 7 wins and could dictate the pace.  EXPLODENT is coming off of two straight wins.  SPIRIT OF THE WIND and PRIVATE EQUITY deserve some longshot consideration with the driver upgrades.

Race 7 - VALDONNA could be the single, no shame chasing CHECK ME OUT and MAVEN, but does break from time to time.

Nice call on Whole Lotta Shakin, Horrible drive by Gingras... Gutted that horse completely. I'd be pretty livid if that was my horse.
