Lovely start to a long trip
« on: September 04, 2012, 04:54:10 AM »
Somehow during the night, I knocked my glasses from the nightstand and broke them. Now I am supposed to be finishing up loading the car, but I don't see very good in these, my old glasses. Screw it. Going back to bed and probably not going to leave till tomorrow.

I needed another day to pack anyway.  idunno

Well I started packing blindly. I can't leave Nevada until I get my glasses fixed and the place opens at 10. If they get them done quickly, I could leave before noon. I hate modifying my plans that much. As a Virgo, my trip and stops on the trip are planned around daylight. I have no idea where to sleep each night if my schedule is changed by 300 miles (5 hours).

I may have to see Madam Ling Ling this morning to ease my mind and prepare my body for this journey.  dorkusinterruptus

Have fun!  You know, when you say you're 'packing' that could be taken a number of ways....... rflmao1

Despite my late start, I am in Flagstff already. Probably go only to Albuquerque today or a little farther, but Amarillo by morning...

You should have flown and rented a car.  Took 3 hours last night for me to fly from Vegas .
