I use to have a few from Wolverine in the early 70's.
Today we have online condition sheets and in the 80's and 90s the tracks had mimeographed and copy machine condition sheets a few days in advance.
The books usually covered a few weeks.
Anybody aware if the books existed prior to the following?
from Jun 6, 1945 Harness Horse and Roosevelt:
An innovation at a trotting track which went into use, June 2, is the semi-monthly booklet announcing the programs for the ensuing two weeks. The booklet will carry a large fund of information regarding future races, the feature events to come giving dates for racing them, subject of course to weather interference. The printing and issuing of the booklet will be a semi-monthly feature the duration of the meeting.
