Johnson has as much chance of being president as I do; and I'm not even running.

I'm far more Libertarian than anything else, but I'm also a realist. I'll vote for whoever has the best chance of kicking Osama & Moochelle out of the White House. I fear that this country can't withstand 4 more years of his destruction.

That is the trouble. If everyone who agreed with Johnson voted for him, he would win. I am going to vote for the best candidate for a change.

THe last time I did that, it was George W. Bush his first election. Ever since I'ver voted for the lesser of two evils every time. Hell I wish Slick Willie was able to run, I would vote for him...and he would win in a landslide. And it would be the first time I ever voted for a Democratic presidential candidate.

I generally vote for the most fiscally conservative, and that generally is the Republican. In this case, we have a Mormon running agin a Muslim. Both of those religions allow multiple wives. How dumb is that?

I'm not a libertarian.  I would call myself ultra-conservative.  Sometimes people ask me what I think of Rush Limbaugh, and I say he is too much of a leftist for my taste.  I have a problem with this "social liberal" "fiscal" conservative crap.  Social engineering costs big money and is a waste of money.  Even though I am not in favor of Gay marriage or legalizing marijuana , those issues would not decide my vote.  It's not that I dislike Johnson's platform that much, but you are kidding yourself if you think that if everyone who agrees with him voted for him he would win.  He would get a slim majority of the white male vote, that's it.  I agree with JS that Obama must go, so I have no choice but to vote for Romney.

Crap?  Maybe to you but some of us - allot of us - believe in having all of the freedoms & individual rights that the founding fathers mentioned in the Bill Of Rights & Constitution WITHOUT spending us over a cliff.

Fiscally, it's this simple: You cannot spend what you don't have.  If our gov't can live by that, we'd never have another economical problem. 

That's the "crap" socially-liberal/fiscally conservatives want.  And IMO, telling people how to live like the far right does is a bunch of crap!

I'm in favor of a strong military. Protecting us from the rest of the jealous world is one of the main legitimate functions of our national government. And,I don't mind paying for it.

I certainly would never dream of forcing my will upon others, which is why I could care less if women want to murder their unborn babies, if gays get married, or if someone wants to fire up some weed. I also do not care if people smoke, drink to excess, or if they stick a gun to their head and pull the trigger.

I do care about our idiotic politicians wasting our money and letting our jobs go overseas. I do care about seeing soldiers die needlessly when we could have simply nuked the enemy into loving the USA.

Government should be limited, no doubt. Cut it by 90%. Give us a strong military and good roads. Since I have paid into social security for 40 years, I'd hate to see it killed off before I die, but I really wish it had never started to begin with.

Our government sucks, and it has for the most part since Nixon resigned. We now have a dictator in office and even if he loses, we will have another idiot in office unless people wake up between now and November.

You don't get it.  The "crap" that I'm in favor of is equal rights for all regardless of your religious beliefs, sexual orientation...

I believe in a woman's right to choose during the 1st trimester only.  Then only if the woman's life is at risk.

The far right wants to tell women they can't have an abortion & they can't count on the gov't for financial help.  It's one or the other - you can't have both.

I too believe in a strong military, low taxes & whipping Congress into shape.  I'm a small business owner - any idea how pissed I am at Obama now?  No difference, he never had a prayer at my vote.  But I shop the shit out of everything to save nickels & dimes & then the gov't spends our tax money on confirming that there are no mermaids!

Uhhh, I probably have a lot of kids older than you and my policies have never changed in the past 40 years.  I'm just a dumb old redneck who likes sexual intercourse with Asian women, and it probably goes back some deep rooted guilt about the Vietnam war....I suppose I just want to make the ladies happy for my fellow Americans killing their forefathers.
