New Laws That Go Into Effect Immediately
« on: June 28, 2012, 10:24:26 AM »
Since Obamacare has been deemed constitutional by John Roberts (don't we already have 2 John Roberts' in Harness Racing?), the following laws are also to be implemented immediately in order to save money in the new HealthCare system:

These provisions were found in the Affordable Health Care Act on scattered pages, written in code:

1 - Smoking is banned permanently.  This will cost hundred of thousands of jobs from the tobacco industry but they will be happy with the extended unemployment program.

2 - Hot dogs are banned permanently.  We all know the sodium nitrate causes cancer.  Same job situation as tobacco.

3 - All soft drinks are banned permanently.  Fat leads to health issues.  Again, f**k the jobs at Coke, Pepsi,...

4 - Red meat, candy, fried foods & all cheeses are banned immediately.  Same fat & jobs issues.

5 - Unemployment benefits are extended indefinitely so that the liberal gov't has your testicals so tied up, you have to back their social programs & vote for them forever.

6 - In an effort to eliminate sickness that would require costly medical care, anyone found with a cold or scratchy throat will be shot on the spot.  Funerals will also be banned in favor of cremation.

I can't tell how "tongue in cheek" your post is, but Obamacare is a total disaster in waiting. I'm waiting with bated breath for the Nov election.

I just read an article that is absolutely spot on. Today's vote was actually a slap in the face to the Obama administration when all is said and done.

Here is the link. Read it and laugh!

7.  To cut down on accidents and their high medical costs to treat injured victims, women will no longer be allowed to drive.  (Obama has refused to admit that this idea comes from his friends in Saudi Arabia) bowdown bowdown bowdown before the king.
8.  Speaking of tongues, anyone who bad-mouths Obamacare will have their tongue pulled out of their mouths by a team of horses. No, this doesn't mean that Sharia law is being implemented in the USA.
9.  Women will no longer be allowed to get an education.  The money saved will more than pay for Obamacare. No, this idea does not come from the Taliban.  Anyone who says that will have a red hot poker inserted in one ear and pushed out the other ear,

I wonder how many people realize that Obamacare has a clause to make you pay Federal sales tax when you sell your house? It's hidden in the nearly 2,000 pages of the act. One of the scariest statements I've ever heard was when Nancy Pelosi said, "We need to pass it, so we'll know what's in it." God help us!

Obama said, "Any family making less tha $250,000 will not pay one additional dime if this law is enacted." The truth is: 77% of the cost of Obamacare will be paid by households earning less than $120,000. A family of 4 would only have to average $30k/yr each to take the hit. Remember that in November!

Wait a second, Nancy Pelossi says it would be futile to repeal Obamacare.  Then she goes on to list all the sick that would not goet treatment!  Bullshazz!!  Do people really buy into that stuff?
It may have been found to be within the Constitution, but that it no way means it is a good law! :o :o

According to the conservative blog "News Busters" a demomstration before the Kings throne room at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue today was broken up and disbanded by the Secret Service. Reports said that the a "bomb" may have been present present in the ranks of the 300 +/- criminals marching in front of Barry and Mooochi'e pad.
That old piece of parchment that the constitution is printed on is sooooo out of date !!
You can be pretty sure there is tyranny in the country when the government pleads the fifth
Amendment !!

There is a tax credit for families of four at about $65k or less. Plus the (likely) benefit of lower cost insurance for those of us paying for our own.
A "family of four" typically is two parents and two kids. What kids are making $30K a year to get you to your 4120K figure?

I can tell you this, if the way the feds run medicare and medicaid is any indication of how Obamacare will be run, we are all in trouble. Both medicare and medicaid pay only a fraction of the cost that general patients pay.  For instance, my doctor charges $65 for an office visit.  Mediccare allows only $18 for an office visit.  I know this because they send you a monthly statement that shows you all charges and what is paid.  Any doctor or hospital that accepts medicare or medicaid agrees to not charge the patient more than is allowed. Of the $18, medicare pays like $16 and my supplemental insurace pays $2.  Think about it.  The $18 most likely doesn't cover the doctor's insurance costs, let alone cover the cost of office space, nurses, record keepers, receptionist and janitorial services.  That is why all doctor's and hospitals do not accepy medicare or medicaid patients.  How do those that do cover the rest of their costs---by charging everyone else more!
Plus, the payments are super slow in coming.  If I went to the doctor today, he wouldn't get paid for 9-12 months! Yet, we are always told both medicare and medicaid are on the verge of going broke!  The only way anyone pays less is for others to pay more.  Keep in mind that medicare is not free.  With the inplementatoin of Obamacare, there will be a doctor shortage.  Expect long waits for anything but extreme emergencies. There is no way only the "rich" will pay all these costs.  Many will have to pay the costs involved.  Your insurance will not be cheaper when all costs are figured in.

Ah, but remember; a "child" is now up to age 26 according to The Bamster. You conveniently ignored the "no family earning les than $250k" pledge.

No govt program has ever cost as little as it was pitched to the public. Medicare, if it had followed projected costs would be under $100bil now. It's around a trillion. This Obamacare plan will make the Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security messes look like child's play. And we will surrender all our healthcare choices (and freedoms) to a bunch of political appointees who carefully exempted themselves from it. This thing is a 2,700+ page disaster in waiting!

On one hand Roberts absolutely told the voters "if you don't want this use your vote to voice your opinion".

On the other hand, there are 41% of our brilliant population who don't even know there was a Supreme Court decision.

So when you try to make sense out of this whole mess, you will not be able to get there.  Too many ignorant voters for logic to prevail.  Just go to the poll in November & hope for the best.  But expect the worst (again).

I am an eternal optimist too JS  but I am getting old and I'm having my doubts for my kids and grandkids' future .  It is looking scary if someone with some sense  doesn't get in charge and kick some ass.
