Win Missy B, who is supposed to be competing for division honors with Check Me Out, while also being a threat to the boys, put in another dismal performance tonight. David Miller made the top with her in 27.1 in an Elegantimage elimination at Mohawk, and benefitted when the 3-5 favorite, All Ready Hanover, who beat Missy last week, jumped on the last turn. Miller circled the track at a good clip, but this filly set a Canadian record of 53.3 over this track last year as a two-year-old. Maven, the Glidemaster filly that beat Check Me Put in her first start, went by her in a 29.3 last quarter at 8-1. The Ontario SS filly, Miss Paris, was second at 50-1. The mile went in 53.1.
Check Me Out won the other division with the greatest of ease in 54.3, paying a generous $2.30.
