This very well could be the "Last Stand".   So far it looks promising but Legislators and Governor's are "funny" and you never know til its over....just look at Illinois as a example!   Plus, the Casino Interests and anti-gambling do-gooders are rallying in mass to assure that Michigan Racing dies off once and for all.  The word truly is that if the proposals as recommended for passage by the Ag Committees to the House and Senate don't pass, the lights may go out forever within a year or so in Michigan.....its that bad.

You're right, JS.   Turnips need love and have their fans too!
Quinnochio - that's good!  I like it.

Now the dumb sombitch is going to sign a bill into law that will revoke healthcare for my Bride and I, after it was guaranteed for life when I retired. This is in direct violation if the IL State Constitution. Apparently we were lied to for over 3 decades. Also apparently, we are going to held responsible because Gov(s) have been robbing money out of the retirement funds to finance freebies to the non-working class to ensure re-election.

I have to hope that we can put together a class action lawsuit to circumvent this. If it is necessary to change the way retirement & medical care is set up in the future, fine. But to destroy it AFTER people have worked for 30-40 yrs to earn it is just bullshit.

"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going take this anymore"  Will be the  rallying cry when the marches on Springfield take place. And--the marchers will be armed!!!before they take our guns away too)  You can only be cheated,  lied to and robbed by  the bastards for so ,long  They, as you said in fact stole the money from us and now everyone is to suffer except them!!!  See what suffering is when your kneecaps  are gone and you are crawling around on stumps. I'm a non-violent person, but others are not as level-headed as me.  No telling where this will end.
