The President Of PeaceTrump! Trump! Trump!
This had to of been written by a Tbred person. The naming of the 1/4 ,7/8 3/4 pole and so forth. They are named opposite in each breed.
I absolutely HATE rules that are open to interpretation! "approx 6-8 strikes"... well which is it? "Above shoulder level"... from what camera angle? "excessive"... by what standard? A whip was always the most underused piece of equipment in my stable, but sometimes very necessary. My rule would be: You slash one up to the point that he comes back to the paddock with welts and bleeding after the race, it's your ass... big fine + suspension. (and the owners and/or trainer get's a free pass to kick the snot out of you) But I don't like rules that judges can adjust from one driver to another.
None of this is a problem if they also determined that stiffing is okay!
I say give them all a six inch whip and let the driver use it as often as they want.
You dream of having a 6 inch whip. :'(
I'm not sure what you're saying.
Hey under the proper conditions, my whip expands to well over 6 inches...or at least it used to.
