Winning Mister Caught Napping

In his first start ever at Hoosier Park, and with Peter Wrenn driving him for the first time, Winning Mister, the 1-9 favorite, made an unhurried push to the top from the outside, taking the lead around the first turn, and proceeded to put the field to sleep in the open trot. Wrenn cruised around the track, never moving a muscle, and looked to be an easy winner. But wait! Ten to one shot Proud Yankee challenged Winning Mister with a sixteenth to go, and blew right by him.
