President Wants To Raise Taxes Indefinitely

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/top-1--would-see--90-000-tax-rise--report-says.html

Biggest problems I have with this proposal is since it doesn't address spending limits, taxing the wealthiest will not help & because it is a 10-year plan on anyone earning $250,000+, it attacks many more in year 5,6,7...

Since we all aspire to make more money & the devaluation of the $ will spur incomes higher along with prices for everything we buy.  Therefor, when we have 15% of the country making $250,000 instead of the 3% today (which will equal today's $150,000), the gov't will be penalizing many more with higher tax burdens.

I know I would spend at least 70% of every dollar I don't have to send to the governent. When you add up all the taxes you pay  I know my total comes out to about 50% of what I bring in.  That is for ALL taxes.  The biggest hunk goes to the federal government.  That may seem high, but you not only have to figure things like income tax, which you can see on every pay stub. but all the hidden taxes you pay. Like every time you buy a gallon of gas, the local, state and federal government get a cut of what you had to pay.   If you figure that every time you buy something, part of the cost is tax.  Not just sales tax, which you can see, but all the taxes paid by the manufaturer, all the middlemen, retailers, raw material providers, transportation providers it just goes on and on. All that is figured in to the cost of every item you buy.  It just boggles the mind.  And Still, every taxing body bitches that they don't have enough.  When I was talking to the truck driver I played golf with this is what he said.  His route is between Ohio and New Jersey. To drive his semi there and back, it costs $2,000 just for tolls!!!!  I have to stop, I'm getting dizzy.
