Here are the rules

5 weekly chances to participate, 5 finalists advance each week, by making 5 picks from any of our 5 featured tracks...with over $5,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs in the finals!

Saturdays from August 10th through the final round on September 14th, handicappers will test their skills to qualify for a spot in the finals and a chance at taking home the ultimate prize in the Big 5 Harness Handicapping Challenge. A one time registration is required, where you'll be assigned a user id and password used to log in to the contest area.

Even if you have played in past contests, you will need to complete the registration again.

WEEKLY WINNERS - 1st thru 5th) Entry into the final round plus free monthly subscription to TrackMaster HarnessPro.

There will be 5 qualifying rounds with each week a brand new contest where you'll have a bankroll of $500 to make exactly 5 win wagers at $100 each. Choose any horses from any races at our 5 featured tracks (Balmoral Park, Hoosier Park, Pocono Downs, Yonkers Raceway & The Red Mile). There's something for every handicapper with a 1, 7/8, 5/8 & 1/2 mile track to choose from.

TrackMaster will be providing free past performance program data or expert analysis reports throughout the competition inside the contest area, a different product offering each week.

FINAL ROUND PRIZES- 1st) $2,000 2nd) $1,000 3rd) $ 500 4th & 5th) 1 year unlimited HarnessPro

The finals will be comprised of 25 players, the top 5 final bankrolls from each of the weekly rounds. Once you have earned a spot in the final round you are not eligible to earn another. You are not required to play every round, but are welcome to participate as often as you like. Contest wagering windows open at 12:00 pm Pacific time on the Thursday prior to, and close at 7:00 am Pacific time on the contest Saturday.

There is a cap on win payouts of 20-1 when calculating the final bankrolls.

So are they trying to make everyone feel good with 5 $100 win wagers?  I think the results might be exactly the same if they were 5 $2 win wagers.   ;D
