Winbak Farm is sad to announce the passing of Art Colony, p, 2, 1:51s ($863,750), owned by Tom Hill of Great Britain. With his first crop on the ground, the six-year-old stallion was in the middle of his second breeding season.
He had both the pedigree and race record, to make him a success in the breeding shed. He was a half-brother to Triple Bars, p, 2, 1:59.4f; 3, 1:54.2s; 4, 1:50.1s ($524,567) and Where The Heart Is, p, 2, 1:54.1, 3, 1:50.2 ($214,654). His maternal family also included Stonebridge Kisses, p, 2, Q2:00s; 3, 1:52.1s; 1:50.2s ($1,011,737). His breeders were Steve Stewart, Frank Cannon and Jeffrey Langfelder.
