I listened to all the candidates speeches last night.  I could support any of them. Enough people will not vote libertarian to make a difference, other than to throw the election to Barry or whatever the hell his real name is. I have no problem with LVGD voting libertarian.  That is what he believes in and it would be a hell of a lot better than what we have now.  What I do have a problem with is those who blast the GOP candidates with "Is this the best they can do" but do not say the same about the Donkey jackasses.  Any of the four GOP left would be light years better than Barry Sokoro or whatever . Of course, my vote in Illinois means nothing.  The machine could give you the final totals today if they wanted to do that.

Hal, you are spot-on about IL. Last election  Pat Quinn & Bill Brady were in a statistical tie with only 1,1000 votes seperating them when I went to bed. Cook County miraculuosly FOUND some uncounted ballots the next morning Quinnochio was up by 11,000 votes. I think the next day it was something like 20k. Long story short: Brady won 99 of 102 counties and was still beaten. Only in IL can the machine operatives avoid prison over the election fraud.

Ron Paul is a wacko IMO.  Just leave Iran alone - until of course they blow us up!  He's introduced something like 650 bills to Congress & 1; yes 1 single bill actually made it through.  That puts him WAYYYYYYYYYY out there.

So not only is it a wasted vote, but a whacked one.  Why is it that Stossel makes so much sense to me than Paul?

Don't get me wrong, I could never vote for Ron Paul (his son.....maybe) but that one bill Ronnie introduced is one hell of a lot better than what Barry happened to accomplish. Barry did introduce a couple but it is generally recognized that they were written by others and given to the annointed one so as to enhance his resume.

Hal I am not so sure that any of the Republicans that are currently leading the race would be better than Obama....and Obama is one of the worst presidents of our lifetime. He ranks right down there with Jimmy Carter, LBJ, and JFK.

Yes I will say it here: All JFK ever did was get laid and get shot. He got our soldiers mired into Vietnam, then things got much, much worse after he was killed, under Lyndon B. Johnson. Carter...he was probably the most honest, intelligent man to sit in the White House. Like many smart people though, he was so smart he was dumb and very ineffective as president.

I would really be just as ashamed having Romney as president as I am with Obama being president. I kid you not one bit, I would vote for Slick Willy again over all of these people.
