Just returned from cemetery visiting my Grandfather's(WW1) and Father's graves.(WW2)
We owe a lot to the brave men and women who have served to defend and protect us.

I was at a noon meeting that had nothing to do with veterans, but they were mentioned in the intro. When it came Ray's time to speak he took care of the business at hand and holding onto his white cane, he gave a short impromptu speech, honoring the vets. At the end he trailed off to a near whisper and said, "I pray for the day when there are no more veterans..." Tears were pouring down Ray's face, and they weren't the only tears in the room. I've never heard a better tribute.

A Huge Thank You is not enough .  God Bless Our Veterans     and God Bless our Troops here and abroad and keep them out of harms way.  Amen.

Thank a vet, on Veteran's Day and everyday.  A lot of the men and women were and still are harness racing fans.....my own dear old dad, a WWII paratrooper is responsible for turning me on to the races.  I thank him for that but most of all thank him for his love of country and his service.

I saw too many really good kids being "bagged" and sent home. It was a different time, place, and war but I hope no one has to see something like that again. This is why people like Obummer, Holder, and Clinton make me fear for the future of our country.
