Labor Day Madness at the Hawk, here's what I like:
- Visible Gold. Horse has no gate speed but closes like a rocket. In a short field, should be close enough to kick home. Play with 1,3,7 underneath in the exotics.
- PL Fairlady. Tough race, lots of horses that don't like to win. Most have many X's and O's, which isn't fun to handicap. Take a guess?
- Cheap claimers, many shipping in from other tracks. Ill go with Zeron's, Bordeaux Best. Tough race.
- Executive Jet. Solid results, other than his last start, and an ultra consistent sort. Play with 1,2,3,7 in the exotics.
- Windsong Geant. Has impressive gate speed and if he makes front, should be all over. Play with 5,7,8,10 in the exotics.
- Long Flight Hanover. First start after an impressive qualifier for the powerful Jamieson and Gillis combo.
- Victim of Change. Finally gets some class relief. Should be the best in here.
- Curious Phoenix. Ultra consistent sort that has Saftic driving. Has good speed and should be heard from.
- Angel Scent. Should be a great match up with American Jewel. Take your pick between these two nice fillies. If she can close in 25.4 again, she should be good enough to win.
- Northern Kendra. I never take a Sleepy Mayotte horse usually, but with the right trip, this one can upset. Hunch play.
- Grandkids Attack. Returning to the big track where he had good results. Has good gate and closing speed. Should be spotted well.
- Winbak Carl. Filion drives and this one can fly off the wings. I'd say the horse gets a two hole trip and has potential to convert.
That's what I like, good luck to all playing.
