Golden Receiver heads Dan Patch field

Golden Receiver, the number-one ranked horse in North America, heads a field of nine entered in Saturday's $200,000 Dan Patch Invitational Pace at Hoosier Park. Dave Palone, who is nearing Herve Filion's all-time record 15,180 career wins, has been named to drive Golden Receiver by trainer Mark Harder. Palone has driven Golden Receiver four times in his career, in late 2010 and early 2011, and has three wins and a second in the Preferred at The Meadows.
Also in the field is recent Levy Memorial final winner Atochia, who hails from the barn of North America's leading conditioner, Ron Burke. Special T Rocks, a 10-time winner already in 2012 for trainer-driver Daryl Bier, will also line up behind the gate.

Golden receiver has been off two weeks, since beating a very good field in the Graduate, wire to wire in 48.2. They gave him a month off between his win in the Spring Pacing Championship and the Graduate and it didn
