Gingras earns 4000th career win
Chester, PA - On Sunday (April 22) afternoon at Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack, driver Yannick Gingras reached the 4000-win milestone, victorious with the KDM Stables' Versado ($3.80) in the day's fourth race over sloppy going.
Already a winner on the card with John Tronco and Gary Napierala's Ripped ($6.00) in race 2, Gingras pushed Versado to the front early in the $20,000 fourth-level condition pace. Facing little pressure throughout, the two sprinted home to a 2-1/2 length victory, holding clear of Bad Rusty and Fool of Ideas in 1:53.0 amid steady rain and noticeable wind.
David Miller continued his hot streak with a driving hat trick, and Special T Rocks ($8.60) took the featured Winners Over pace in 1:51.4 for trainer/driver Daryl Bier.
