Ronnie is a very good driver, right now.  He may overdrive some at Northfield, but wait a minute, its NORTHFIELD.  Everyone overdrives.  lol I used him at Hoosier several times this spring and he did a fantastic job.  Drives completely different on a big track, which tells me he is an excellent driver for being so young.

Thanks to you all for your thoughts and prayers!!  He is in a better place and despite his assertions that I was going to break him with "these damn horses,"  I know that he is up there rooting them on this weekend.   ;)

We have twelve races, although there is one 2 horse field.  Expected only 9 races so we were pleased.  And yes, I will be announcing.  Just remember, you get what you pay for, and I work pretty cheap.   rflmao1

No charted lines Gary! Only ten races and not near as many as usual as it wasnt publicized as much ahead of time as normal. Was pretty impressed with several of Brown's two year olds.  Two that finished together in a 201 mile were among the best.  With the one Chris drove cutting the mile and winning, with back half around 58 and a somebeachsomewhere colt that Brian drove finishing second pacing a back half around 57 i would guess.

I dont think anyone would expect him to put up the numbers that he put up this year if he went to a bigger venue.  However, there is one number that I think you would see increase that is more important than udrs, win, etc.  That's purse money.  Who cares if he doesnt bat .400, and win 700 races.  If he bats .250 against a better driver colony and wins 300 races, but earns four or five million in purses instead of 2.2 million, is that not a positive move???  I will admit, Dan is a close friend of mine but trust me, he has infuriated me on more than one occasion about some of his drives, however, I never question his will to win and his effort on the racetrack.  You just better know to have them tight and ready to rock when he gets behind them, that is just Dan.  That being said, the best thing for him would be to take a shot to make bigger money.  And yes, to all the doubters, he will certainly not have the win % or udrs that he had this year if he does that, but I think, if put in the right spot that you will see in time that Dan can drive at most places and be successful.
