Meirs is a tease of the first order. He was bred to be a good one: his sister won the Tarport Hap, Countess Adios, Ladyship and Eternal Camnation, and Nadia is his third dam. When he took the Clyde Hirt, Exit 16W and Cam Fella in the early part of last year, crushing the field in the CF final in :49.1, it looked like he was on his way to fulfilling expectations. But he was off for four months and languished in Preferred and high condition company, until they tried him in the Indiana Pacing Derby and the American National at the end of the year. he was listed on Warning Zone so he had to know he wasn't going to go tonight. he would of driven him if he raced
