Love this at the top of the Twinspires.com page:
"To make a Pick 18 wager, you must call 877-774-7371 and speak with a Live Operator. Please do not try to use a wagering interface"
That will hurt the pool size.

What's the under/over on number of winners needed to take down this pool?
I say 10.

While taking a winter mini vacation in New Orleans, my Bride wanted to spend a day shopping. shootme So I hopped the Esplanade bus in the French Qtr and went up to the The Fairgrounds. Pretty pleasant experience, and they had a kinda neat paddock. You could walk around a balcony above the horses and watch them getting the horses ready before the races. As a horseman, I think the closer the fans get to the horses & horsemen the better. Perfect day for me... I made two $2 bets... one winner, one loser. After I bought a couple of beers, I broke even. woohoo!

OK- what did it pay and how many winners did it take? Hell, I have a hard enough time picking one winner. 8) 8) 8)

JS: Batting .500 and washing it down with beer sounds like a winning combination to me! thumbsup
Hal: Winner paid $4600 for 10 correct. I'm assuming one winner with singles on all the losing legs because I don't think the total pool was much more than $4600. shootme

Looks like that went over well with the betting public. shootme
