Looks like a guy either needs Sears, either Miller, Tetrick, Pierce, or Gingras///or a UFO, Spyder, or Avantedge bike.

Some questions to consider:

If we had 6 months of these statistics, would this change how you would handicap races?

Also, would you like to see sulky type listed on past performances?

I would love to, and I think the manufacturers of the latest, greatest bike would as well.  thumbsup

Need to add the average win price.

Angle 1 - Since there are 5 UFOs in each race, 4 must lose so 20% would be fantastic, making 14% great.  Bet the UFO.

Angle 2 - Eric Abbatiello & John Campbell lose on about everything & the Advantage is still winning at 6.9%.  Bet the Advantage if its not Eric or JC.

Angle 3 - There's only one or two Spyders in each race & it still wins at 8.2%.  Bet the Spyder.

Angle 4 - The Brodeur is only used once a race.  Winning at 5% means it wins 1/2 the time.  Bet the Brodeur.

Angle 5 - Throw out the TelStar or any other bikes.  You don't wanna lose do you?

Good call on the different angles. Used to be that the top guns at Blmpk (who all left) liked to switch from their usual bikes to TelStars on trotters. Since Doc wrote very few trots then, they didn't use them often. The best bike on the planet is a total waste if there's a nothing between the shafts.

Angle 3.  If there are 2 spyders in each race, each bike has a 4.1% (on average) chance of winning.  Only bet if the odds are better than 25-1 ?

Angle 4  If a bike wins 5% of the races it is in, it wins 5% of the time (one in 20 races)

Jeremy, obviously my point is that these statistics are pretty worthless and if you even attempt to consider this angle to bet you might as well just give the money to a reputable charity!

When someone shows up with a modified single shaft bike I'll pay attention.
