That is the average amount of time a person spent working in 1930 to pay their Federal Taxes.

Today, the typical American spends 99 days working for Uncle Sam.

99 days ---if they are very lucky !!
I'll always remember,as a very young engineer, my desire to get a foriegn assignment. Those were the days when income earned outside the U.S. of A. was tax free unless you earned in excess of a specified amount. Then came Fort Worthless Jim Wright and his best buddy LBJ, both lunatic democrats, and look where we are today !!
