I like NO, NE, Balt and NY against the spread
I like NO, Balt Ne and GB to win
-
Poor Tom has missed several days of practice due to a bad shoulder, and Wilfork is the only player on the defense who has been on the winning side in a playoff game, so I don
-
I absolutely love SF next week. Saints different team on the road outside on grass. Also like Denver esp if they get any bad weather up in Foxboro.

Opposite side on that one cash....love NO. Also think the Giants will give the Pack all they can handle...Taking the points there.

Great set of games this coming weekend.
Even I would have to consider taking 8.5 pts vs the Pack.
What clown put up that number ?

If it was -7 I would have suspected the guy from Woodbine.

Giants inconsistent, playing on grass at Lambeau in Jan., after a big win.
I see a letdown and a Packers blow out.
-
If I was silly enough to bet on football, I'd take Denver, Ravens, Giants and N.O.
While watching yesterdays games I was amazed at how "blind" the refs were to blatant fouls by certain teams. On reason I won't bet on football.
8) 8) 8) 8)

did you know Wilfork owns a trotter named Eel (former Jimmy Smith horse) in partnership with Senator Scott Brown's daughter, Arianna?
Saw a picture of Big Vince standing next to the horse. It reminded me of the picture of Wilt next to his colt, Rivaltime.

No, no, no. It's still the year of The Pack.
Been a huge Packer fan going way back to the days of Bert Starr. Big fan!

Agree, their pass rush won't be nearly as effective as on turf....without that...Rogers has a field day........Giant dreams of 2007 repeat will be just that....a Dream

Since I did so well last week (1 win 3 losses), I thought I would post my selections to help out fellow Sulkians

Date & Time Favorite Line Underdog Total
1/14 4:30 ET San Francisco + 3.5 and over 47.5
1/14 8:00 ET Denver +13.5 over 50
1/15 1:00 ET At Baltimore -8 under 35.5
1/15 4:30 ET At Green Bay -8.5 over 52

I like all the dogs except GB. Think they roll. With my best bet being SF outright vs the Saints.
-
Vs. spread, going NO, NE, GB, and HOU.
(Note: I suck at sports betting.) rflmao1

All the home teams for me. Anyone know when was the last time the home teams won all 10 playoff games?
-
There is no way the saints lose to the 49ers. ZERO CHANCE

It's Never happened, at least since 1979 and the wildcard....
Closest it ever came was 1991.....All the AFC Home Teams won that year, but Dallas beat Chicago and Atlanta beat New Orleans, both on the road in the NFC Wildcard Games.......the Home Teams won every game from that point on......

While the NO and NE games have held fast, the other two have moved, especially the GB--NY game. These are consensus lines, so it may still be possible to get 8 on either of those games.
Since the number on the NE game is so large, it's somewhat surprising it hasn't moved.

Probably because that game could either be close or a Blowout.....don't think a point here or there will matter.......down to the wire....easy cover....or 42-10....easy cover

There is also zero chance that the Saints will lose to Seattle last year.
Bad road team, bad grass team.
I know this sounds crazy but last week, I felt the Lions were 2 or 3 plays from winning. The fumble that was a TD if not for the zebras & 2 easy interceptions.
San Fran makes those int's, sacks Brees, forces turnovers.

Logan Mankins and Sebastian Vollmer, two of the Pats starting offensive linemen who have been out, are back at practice today. If Brady's O-line is intact and they're able to hold off the Denver pass rush, New England should score a lot of points. It will be cold, but there shouldn't be any precipitation. A fast track benefits NE.

That mwill go down as the best 4 minutes of playoff football I have ever seen. WOW. Never thought the 49ers offense had that in them. What a great finish
-
Hope everybody pounded SF f the Saints different team away from the dome on grass.

No I really enjoyed watching the pats game, now the joke Tebow will not be talked about for atleast 6 months

Got a good one going now with the Ravens and Texans.

Ok I am rooting for the packers cause I hate Eli and the Giants, and I like this packers team, but that was a fumble!!!

Not only was it a fumble but the imaginary "blow to the head" call was a farce as well. Even JoBuc made mention of it ad nauseum and we all know he is almost the expert that some of these gamblers think themselves.
The ref's did everything they could to ensure a home team win. Somehow it didn't work for them.

Thanks to the Giants.....won't happen this year either..........
