NO NEED TO SAY MORE !!!

shootme
-
you;ve got to be kidding me, a fumble now thumbsdown thumbsdown thumbsdown
-
The D was very good today. Barber single handedly lost this one !!!! Forte better get well quick.
-
Tebow sucks, he's just a gimmick. Unfortunately, Hanie was worse.
-
Gimmick or not......Tebow=winner
-
I'd take a gimmick that took me to the Super Bowl way before a legitimate QB that didn't.
Winnin' is winnin'.
-
First off Tebow will never see a super bowl unless he buys a ticket.
Secondly, Yes barber was an idiot but, why in the Hell did Lovie decide to go to a prevent defense up 10 with 4 minutes to go??? They couldn't move the ball all fricken day but now you get now pressure and don't cover anyone with that D. Shit I could of completed those passes. This Coaching staff is the most inept I have ever seen!!!

I couldn't agree with you more, why change anything when you have shut them completely down for 9/10 of the game. I would be willing to bet Tebow will not be a starting qb in this league after next season.

I will take that Tebow bet.I don't think much of Tebow as a QB but what will Denver have but him to use for the foreseeable future ?

They have said the same about Tebow at every single level and he has proven them wrong. I would take him over just about any NFL passer except the Manning boys and Brady right now. He may not be a "quarterback," but he is a something that is far too rare in the No Fun League -- a leader whose teammates believe in him.
-
the average life of a running back is a little over 3 years, which basically is what Tebow is. I think right now there is too little film for these teams to study, Denver has run this type of offense for about 3 weeks right now. Look how much trouble teams had stopping the wildcat offense the first year it was around, teams will adjust and Tebow will be completely ineffective, instead of 90% ineffective.
AS far as the Marion Barber play when he went out of bounds, I rewatched the replay this morning, and the biggest mistake of that whole thing was the stupid play call by Martz. They ran to the short side of the field, it was still indiotic to go out of bounds, but just as idiotic to run to that side of the field.

Bingo! I see the Bears are shooting their mouths off about him. No class. If he is so bad, your loss makes you even worse Bears! When Cutler went down I said the Bears won't win another game. Losses to KC and Denver only firm up that thought. Leadership is something that can't be reduced to Xs and Os.

He's bringing an enthusiasm to the team that is rarely seen....but it won't last. Look at when Josh McDaniels shook things up, got rid of Cutler, got rid of Brandon Marshall, got rid of Tony Sheffler, but McDaniels had a kind of energy about him that Denver fed off of. They started the year 6-0 ...... final record was something like 7-9. Belief, and energy can only take you so far.

I would also take Cam Newton ahead of Tebow,,,,

Give it a year and Tebow will be back on the bench or out of football.
If the season ended right now Denver would face Pittsburgh in the first round, i would love to see Tebow meet Harrison head on. redrose
Your coach wouldn't be dumb enough to back off in a 10 point game like our ( Insert Chef Guy here) and Tomlin has done some dumb stuff before but not like Lovie

I for one would love to see at least 2 out of the 3 recently fired head coaches in Chicago rather than (insert chef guy here) it will never happen though.

Watching Tebow I'm reminded of another QB, this one big, blond and left-handed and who played for the Bears, Bobby Douglass.
What Tebow seems to have that Douglass didn't is leadership and the belief of his teammates. The Bear defense had absolutely no confidence in Douglass.
You can't deny Douglass had a cannon. I don't think the NFL has seen an arm like his before or since. I remember a WR hyperextended his fingers trying to catch one of his rockets with his hands. Dick Gordon maybe?
I'll reserve judgement on Tebow. Let's see how he does next year. I remember Kent Nix and Virgil Carter coming in as second stringers and lighting things up for a few games.
The jury's still out, IMO.
-
I always thought Douglass would have made a pretty good fullback. He was a lot better runner than he was a QB. imo

I agree, JS.
Might have been a helluva linebacker or tight end, too.

I will always associate that emoticon with Dalio, but now that he has passed maybe we should retire it in memory of him?

Could it get any worse for the bears? Yes it can rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1
Bears WR Sam Hurd was arrested Wednesday night in Chicago on federal drug charges.
According to authorities, Hurd attempted to purchase drugs from a supplier in North Texas. Hurd spent the first four years of his career with the Cowboys and is from San Antonio. In 12 games this season, he has eight catches for 109 yards.

Personally I never heard of the guy until you posted his name. Not what you would call a big contributor but looked to be branching out into the drug markets. shootme shootme shootme

just goes to show that you can take the player out of the Cowboys, but you can't take the Cowboys out of the player.

they have to be disappointed to have an underaverage receiver on the team and the one thing they were going to count on him for (cheaper drugs) he couldn't deliver.

And the NFL has now agreed with what almost everyone in this thread had said. He was never and never will be a NFL QB. The mannings and Brady only over him rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1
