Title: It Looks Like Ron Burke...
Post by: maywoodmaniac on March 27, 2014, 11:12:22 AM
... traded Tony Hall for Corey Callahan and Jim Morrill, Jr. this Saturday night at the Big M.

Even Andy Miller gets to drive Take It Back Terry in the 2nd race FFA.

In fairness, Hall's not down to drive anywhere on Saturday so he must have a non-track commitment.

But after getting skunked last Saturday, will he be driving for Burke at the Big M soon?

If he does, my money won't be on him.

Tony Hall fared really well there two years ago. If he ends up there again don't let one bad night keep you from playing him. 2012 when he was there he won 27% of his drives 13-48 and batted .387. BTW the Burke horses he drove Saturday night were 7/1 14/1 46/1 52/1 20/1 5/1 10/1 and 12/1. Their only winner paid $2.80 and Morrill was on that one.

Tony Hall is a very, very good driver. I've seen him drive against the legends during Jug week and also grand circuit week at the Red Mile. In my opinion, his biggest obstacle is his size. He has the hands and the brain.
