Didn't see anyone I knew for about 15 minutes, so I walked over to the paddock gates. Lo and behold, the first person to recognize me was Tim Tetrick-and he doesn't know me by name. What a nice guy he is!
Next I saw Freddie Grant, and he had a hard time until I told him who I was. We were stabled next to him in 1977-78 in Florida. Needless to say, both of us have aged...a lot.
Finally Bruce Sturgeon and Tony Hall talked to me for quite a while. Yes I harassed Tony about his suspension, then smugly admitted I probably would have failed it as well. Tony is a great guy-I empathize with him getting the suspension, which is really b.s. He has a golf ball sized infection in a tooth or his jaw, and took a percoset. Of course he got popped for a positive that night. Trouble was, he didn't have a prescription for it. 4pezz2
This is a guy who has not had anything in 13 years, and they nail him at Northfield, of all places. Good thing they can't drug test visitors. 8)
After that I ran into several more people I know. Had a great night and did not wager a dime. Did I mention that I love Lexington?

Glad you're having a good time in Lexington! Red Mile is quite a place to see.....while you were there we helped enhance the Vegas economy.....actually coming out AHEAD when all was said and done!
We'll catch up with you next year......

Unfortunately it has become a mini-Detroit or Chicago.
People are gunned down on their front porch these days for no reason other than a gang affiliation.
Haven't had any kids shot in their strollers yet but....................................!
