Title: I am officially old now

I just got a call from a very sweet friend. Her four-year-old daughter absolutely adores me. Anyway the precious little girl wants "to go to Gary's to swim" on Monday while her mother works.

This is probably the closest thing to a grandchild I will have in the near future, so of course I will watch her. I seem to recall my mother's words several years ago: "The way that child crawls into my lap and gives me a hug and a kiss just makes me feel so totally and unconditionally loved."

Well that's how this little girl makes me feel. I am old....   heartluv
