Mattchew is in the 3rd race today at Springfield. He scratched out of a $1500 overnight on Saturday to race for $43,000 today. Go get those profits!
I'm still planning on taking in the Springfield races this Thursday with Just Saying. If anyone cares to join us just let me know. Weather is supposed to be mid 70's and sunny so be sure to bring your umbrella.

Driver change on Mattchew to Marcus Miller...
-
Mattchew beat by about 20 lengths.
-
I saw that. Didn't like the driver change. It was a like a cooler to me. I was dreaming of like 20-1. I plan on driving down for the day on Thursday. Was going to stay for Friday, but forgot I had some tests scheduled Friday so that's out. Will look for you guys. Not that many watching the races!!!! If I win I might just buy you all a pork chop sandwich!

Wearing my Squatchin cap today. Cashier at the truck stop said Bigfoot has been sighted around Funk's Grove! Said she was in a band and one of the gals wrote a song about it .i'd love to hear it!
-
Pork and The Havana Ducks used to do one they wrote and recorded; I think it was titled "The Legend of Bigfoot". This is the first part:
I took my Winnebago
Way up to the Northwest
Communing there with nature
And trying to get some rest
When a roar out of the pine trees
Sent a shiver down my spine
Good Lord I said what could it be
That made that awful whine
The Indian guide said Bigfoot
Him bad as him can be
Him big as Winnebago
Tall as redwood tree
He genuine King of forest
And you will plainly see
And when he's all finished shittin'
He's comin' after you and me
Can't remember any more of it, but it would make a great Careless Hal theme song.

Enjoyed a beautiful day at the State Fair with Careless Hal and Tonyb. (and his wonderful brood) The ever sarcastic Hal was the only person on the grounds mockingly wearing a Quinn for Governor lapel sticker. State police sniper in a chopper was eyeing him pretty good so Tony and I scooched over a bit just in case.
We succeeded in eating nearly every unhealthy food known to man or beast. (Tony's Mother in law kept chastising him for his terrible food choices) Little Tonette had a blast seeing absolutely everything on the grounds and enjoying it to the max.
I didn't bet, but did pick and upset winner. The two REAL gamblers put on a capping seminar. Congrats guys! Got to see the fastest ever 2yo IL bred pacer.
Great weather, great friends, great food, great racing. Who could ask for more? Life is good!

Always a good day when TonyB and crew along with Mr & Mrs JS show up. I am going to have to search for my old Carlton Fisk hickory stick. Tony B will need it to keep the guys away from his little gal when she gets older. My oh my is she cute.
I visited the Democratic tent because I was by myself and lonely and I knew there would be plenty of workers paying their political dues there. I felt sorry for the cute gal handing out the Quinn stickers. I figured my buddy JS would like one. She wouldn't stick it on me where I requested, but I took it anyway.
I was shocked that some people don't consider corn dogs to be health food!
